Behaviour Modification Residential Training (Board & Train) Terms & Conditions

1. Payment & Booking Confirmation

All residential bookings must be paid in full before the start date.

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking.

The remaining balance must be paid before drop-off.

2. Training Expectations & Outcomes

Storm's Squad Dog Training guarantees that all training will be conducted by an experienced professional

While training progress will be demonstrated, long-term success depends on the owner’s commitment to maintaining the training.

Behaviour modification results vary due to factors such as genetics, health, age, and owner consistency.

Some behaviours may not be fully “fixed” but will be managed through structured training.

3. Owner Responsibilities

Owners must provide all food and medications with clear instructions.

The dog must be fully insured and up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, and medical care.

Owners must provide honest and complete information regarding their dog's history, health, and behaviour.

Follow-up training sessions may be required to maintain and continue progress after the residential stay.

4. Veterinary Care & Emergencies

In case of a medical emergency, Storm's Squad Dog Training will take your dog to Heartland Veterinary Services (or the closest open Veterinary Services).

Owners will be notified as soon as possible.

Owners are fully responsible for all veterinary costs.

5. Training Process & Progress Updates

Owners will receive regular progress updates, including videos, photos,and WhatsApp updates

6. Eligibility for Residential Training

Dogs must be in good health upon arrival.

Dogs with aggression issues must be disclosed fully, including past incidents and severity.

The use of muzzles, crates, leads or other restraints may be employed whenever deemed necessary for the safety of Storm's Squad Dog Training, your dog, or other parties.

In order to appropriately modify your dog's behaviour, we require full information about any/all behaviour issues they have exhibited

Storm's Squad Dog Training reserves the right to refuse any dog if it is deemed unsafe or unsuitable.

7. Liability & Indemnity

While reasonable precautions are taken, Storm's Squad Dog Training is not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages to dogs, owners, or third parties.

Owners agree to indemnify Storm's Squad Dog Training from any claims or damages related to their dog’s behaviour.

8. Media & Documentation

Training footage may be recorded for progress updates, take-home notes, and advertising.

Owners must inform us in advance if they do not consent to media use.

By enrolling your dog in our residential training program, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

This package is not suitable for dogs who have behavioural issues (aggression, fear, obsessive compulsive behaviours, flight mode, noise sensitivity, resource guarding, etc).
